J. Lauritzen has engaged in a five-year partnership with Shanghai Maritime University and Copenhagen Business School. The so-called SMU-CBS Lauritzen GLOBAL Talent Scholarship will provide scholarships for up to 70 students until 2020.

Mid-May J. Lauritzen’s Bunker Purchaser in Asia, Mr. Kasper Kofoed-Dam, ran the Great Wall Marathon in Huangyaguan, Tianjin Province, China. Kasper crossed the finish line in an impressive time which earned him sixth place overall in the historical and tough run with more than 2,000 participants across all categories of participants.

Today, J. Lauritzen welcomes Mr Louis Tan and Ms Kancy Zhu Liu to our office in Singapore as part of the Global Internship Award supported by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Last week, Lauritzen Bulkers’ Shanghai office hosted a well-attended reception, where members of the maritime community attended and Lauritzen Bulkers’ new General Manager, Anders Johannsen had the opportunity to meet with our Chinese business partners.
